Allgaier: Back in the profit zone

After a substantial loss during the economic and financial crisis, Allgaier is back in the profit zone and is expecting a record turnover in 2011. The decisive factor here is the successful restructuring at the Uhingen location, the surprisingly good overall economic development and excellent international business.

ALLGAIER buoyant into 2011

In the 2010 business year, the ALLGAIER Group was able to make up a sizeable portion of the ground lost during the fall in sales and earnings in 2009. The Group was obliged to record a decline of 25% in sales in 2009, whilst the corresponding figure for 2010 shows growth of 22.5%.

Helmar Aßfalg extends his contract as Chairman of the Board of Management until 2016

The shareholders in the ALLGAIER Group have appointed Helmar Aßfalg, the Chairman of the company's Board of Management to this post for a further five years.

The shareholder and the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of ALLGAIER Werke GmbH, Prof. Dr. Dieter Hundt, and Helmar Aßfalg have agreed an extension to the contract until 30 June 2016.

For our further expansion on the Chinese market we are searching for a Sales Manager in China
 
Your duties & responsibilities:
-Establishment of new contacts to Chinese customers
-Supporting our existing Chinese customers
-Elaboration of technical solutions for our customers in the process industry
-Preparation of quotations and presentation to our prospective clients
-Consultation of our Chinese customers in using ALLGAIER Dryers and Screening Machines
-Execution of contract negotiations
-Presentation of our Dryers and Screening Machines on exhibitions and trade fairs in China
-Collaboration with our representation office in Shanghai and our head office in Germany
 
Your profile:
-Education as mechanical engineer or process engineer
-Commercial practice on selling machinery on the Chinese market
-Experience in international business
-Good knowledge of English or German language
-Willingness to travel

Automotive arm set to benefit from further internationalisation
 
Chinese automotive group awards major tooling contract to Uhingen‑based company
 
Uhingen-based automotive supplier ALLGAIER formed the sales and engineering company "ALLGAIER Automotive Tool & Die Co. Ltd.", based in Beijing (Peking), in May 2010, giving it a presence in the emerging market of the automotive industry, from which the company expects additional, strong sales growth.
